Aaron's 1st Haircut

Aaron was in desperate need of a haircut! He had a old man comb over on top of his head, little wings that sometimes curled right above his ears, a bald spot in the back, and patchy spots of thick and thin hair everywhere else.   Today he is 5 months old so it was past time.  I told a girl that I was going to cut his hair and she told me I would regret it, she did and cried afterwards.  I'm pleased to say there were no tears and I am so glad he will no longer have crazy hair!
During Aaron's haircut he wasn't very cooperative.  I'm not sure why my 5 month old baby didn't sit perfectly still?  Since he wanted to see what was going on I had to enlist Dusty to help.  He wasn't happy and even when I was finished he wasn't happy with me.  I was cleaning up the hair and Aaron was sad so Nathan picked him up and I got this mad face from Nathan because I made Aaron cry.  I am a mean mom, I can admit it!
So when I was cutting his hair I cut the comb over, which was the longest hair, I cut the ends off and then went to the scalp to cut off the rest.  In this picture his hair would have been almost 4 inches but if I wouldn't have cut off the ends first it would have been longer.  That is just too long for such a small head.

What a cute boy!!  Now he looks blond, but he had brown hair all over the floor when I was done.  What a cutie!! Now his hair can grow in evenly.

Emma- A Great Big Help

Six years ago when Nathan was born Emma wanted to be my big helper.  Three years ago she wanted to help with Allie and she did pretty good.  She was much smaller and couldn't pack her around without much supervision.  But now she is a great helper!  She has changed his diapers, feeds him, changes his clothes, puts him in his carseat, takes him on walks, etc!  Yes I love having a helper!

4 Months-Cereal for the 1st Time

Today Aaron is 4 months old!  Time has flown!  He seems hungry all of the time, like he isn't quite satisfied and now that he is 4 months I tried giving him cereal.  As you can see Aaron wasn't a big fan of cereal.  Hopefully he will get to like it.

Who Does Aaron Look Like?

Well at first I thought Aaron looked just like Allie and so far he is staying dark.  However, the older he gets the more I think he looks like his cousin Will, Megan and Kenny's little boy.  We have looked through pictures a couple of times and each time we look at the trip last year when Megan, Kenny, and Will came to visit we think it is Aaron, but it's Will.

Aaron Smiling- 2 months old

Aaron is such an easy baby. When he was first born 3 1/2 weeks early he had jaundice, then he got a chest cold(not serious but miserable for him), and now a little cough. But through it all he smiles and is such a happy and mellow baby!

E & A

When I had Allie, Emma wanted to "Help" with her. She wan't quite big enough. Now that she is 8 she is such a big help. She can watch him, hold him, carry him, etc. without me having to constantly watch her. I'm not a nervous wreck, I trust her! She is a great big sister!!
