Nathan's Skin

People always ask what is wrong with Nathan's skin. And then they usually tell me how they have eczema and what they did or do to get rid of it. Most people tell me about how itchy and dry there skin is in the winter, I understand mine is too, or how they get cracked knuckles and they bleed, mine too. But seriously, most people do not have eczema as bad as Nathan. These are pictures after rubbing him down daily with Aquafor, Vaseline, steroid cream, steroid oil, etc. and an antibiotic in his system. My poor baby told me that he doesn't look very handsome with the sores on his face, what 5 year old should be worried about his looks? Luckily he does have really good self esteem and he knows he is handsome!

Christmas

Dusty was on call Christmas Day so we had to celebrate early. We didn't get a lot of things but the kids got exactly what they wanted, we think less is more! We had a great day but by 8 am Dusty had already been called and was heading to the hospital. We had our big Christmas dinner the day before and we were planning Dusty being at the hospital all day so we had a nice relaxing day just hanging out. Janice, Alan, and Wendi came to visit for a minute. The Stanley's came over and we were able to talk to Nick. Later we headed up to the hospital to see Dusty. We had a great day, we just wish Dusty could have been with us!

Dusty and I went to Vegas as part of our Christmas. But I also got a few books that I have been wanting.

Santa brought Allie a baby doll, dress, hairbows, fairy treehouse, littlest pet shops, books, just to name a few things she recieved.
Nathan was spoiled with a new suit, elevated geo trax tracks, books, and a new scooter.
Emma got the American Girl doll that she wanted!

Christmas Eve

We had our big dinner on Christmas Eve because Dusty had to work on Christmas Day. It was fantastic!! Janice, Alan, and Wendi came to join us. We used our china and crystal at Emma's request and had a great meal, with great company, and it was very relaxing!

Mom & Allie

We were hanging out Christmas Eve, just Allie and me, by the Christmas tree. I am 6 months pregnant and Allie needs lots of mom's love and attention. It was fun just to spend a little time with her alone.

My China Hutch

Since we got married I have had my china in boxes. I have wanted a china hutch so I could display my china and use it. My kids love the crystal the best. We had Nick Bennet build this for us. I drew up the plans and he built it. We painted it.
