Rodeo

Today Dustin, Nathan , and I were taking our horses to another field. Nathan wanted to ride so I through him up on Sage (on the left) bareback. Dustin decided to ride also. As he jumped on his horse, Renagade (the buckskin on the right), it spooked Sage and he bucked. Nathan was holding on for dear life. He bucked again and Nathan came tumbling to the ground. I had a hold of the reigns but I had to snatch Nathan by his shirt to get him out of the way so the horse wouldn't step on him. Once the horse stopped jumping around and calmed down, I made sure my baby was alright. There were no tears and he was ready to ride again, however, this time he rode on the other horse with Dusty. I told Nathan he could be in the rodeo and he thought that was pretty cool.

After school

Emma came home from school today and said she was exhausted as she fell onto the ground. It must be tough to be in half day kindergarten.

They travel from house to house playing. They come over all of the time, which Nathan loves, even if Nathan is sleeping they jump on the tramp, play on the swing set, or ride the bikes.

They even love to play with Emma.

Workin with the Horses

Nathan was in our field and I asked him to come into the yard. As he looked at me very serious he said, "I can't mom, I'm workin with the horses." Anyone need a horse trainer?He finally finished workin with those horses.

Tiger and Backhoe

Backhoe is Nathan's cat. He named him Backhoe because he is yellow and because he LOVES backhoes. Backhoe's birthday is June 3rd just like Uncle Bob!
Our cats are so friendly. They let anyone pick them up and don't mind if kids pack them around.

Tiger is Emma's cat. We got him from the animal shelter. His birthday is April 28th just like Aunt Gretchen.

Emma lost her first tooth

Emma has been waiting so long to loose her first tooth. Her friends started loosing theirs last year. She finally had a loose tooth and keep messing with it until finally with her dads help it fell out. They put it in a cup and when I got home she proudly showed it to me. She said she was going to leave it outside on the front porch so the toothfairy could leave her money and get the tooth. We asked her why she would put it on the front porch. She said," Because we lock the doors." Later that night she wanted to look at her tooth and somehow it disappered. She was so upset that she didn't have a tooth for the toothfairy that she thought she wouldn't get any money. However, Dustin said he would talk to the toothfairy and tell her what happened. The next morning Emma found a note with a dollar from the toothfairy. She is anxiously waiting for the next tooth to fall out.
