We Told Our Kids

We finally told our kids about baby #4. I told Emma that her dad had a secret , so she asked him what it was and he whispered in her ear. Emma immediately had a huge smile on her face. She was so excited!! Then I told Nathan to ask and Dusty whispered to Nathan. Nathan got a huge smile also ! They are so excited. Nathan told me that he hoped we would have twins, a boy and a girl. Emma wants a baby brother. When we told Allie there was a baby in my belly she said "No!"
I feel great! I think my belly has popped out, after all this is the 4th time it has done this. I feel tired but it could be that I haven't been getting enough sleep. Somedays I am really excited and other days I question my sanity and wonder what I was thinking! I am so excited to have another baby!
I called my mom and told her that I had some news and she asked, "So when are you due?" and my dad was way excited because I am due in March, his month. I told him I was due at the end not the 2nd, his birthday, and he said that didn't matter. Ryan came to visit and guessed, by was clueless so I told them. Dusty told his mom and she said that she wondered if I was.

Cassie's Triathlon

I had to swim 300 meters, bike 13 miles, and run 3.1 miles. This is my reward for all of the hard work I put into my training!
I had to be at registration at 5:30, that is why it is dark in the picture. I went to bed about 12:30. Bobby and his family came to visit. He is finally home from Iraq and I haven't seen him in a year so I wanted to visit. I only got about 4 hours of sleep before I got up and in that time I had to get up 3 times with sad kids in the night, I guess that is the life of a mom, no matter what is going on kids still need their moms!
Ready to start

Swimming
Running to the finish
Finished! I took 16th out of 24 women, but I also beat several men and teams! My time was 1 hour 31 minutes and ?? seconds.

Great Job Emma for taking 14th in her triathlon!

My brothers came to see me for my birthday! Ryan, me, and Bobby

Allie loves the frosting, just like her mamma!

At the Park with Family

Ryan and Bobby and his family came to visit me for my birthday. UBIC free swim day happen to be on my birthday so we went to the pool. About 5 minutes after we got there and the kids had jumped in they closed the pool due to lightening. Bobby and his family got there after it had closed so we headed to the park to wait out the storm. The kids played and had a great time. We got sprinkled on and the clouds blew over and then we went back to the pool for a 30 minute swim. It was still really fun!
Allie & Christie
Bobby pushing Nathan on the zip line (I'm not sure who had more fun? Nathan getting pushed or Bobby pushing him)
Ryan, always up for a new challenge

Ryan pushing Emma on the zip line. At one point Bobby and Ryan tag teamed whoever was on the zip line. I think the had more fun than the kids did!

Emma's Triathlon

Emma wanted to do the kids triathlon. I think she wanted to do it because I signed up for the adult triathlon. She swam 50 meters, biked 1 mile, and ran a 1/2 mile. She did such a great job and after it was all over she told me that it was so much fun she wanted to do it again next year. She also said she wanted to sign up for any kid triathlon. She came in 14th place out of 51 kids. She did a great job!! Congrats, Emma!
Getting everything ready
Ready, set, go!
