Emma's Silly Faces

Now that we have a Mac computer Emma thinks it is her toy to take funny pictures of herself. She is so silly and loves all of the fun features she can use to change her pictures to look funny. Here are a few.

Our Hike to Hidden Lake

Dusty had been wanting to go find Hidden Lake and check out the fishing. He was going to go earlier with his friends but then got to busy. So Monday night he asked if we wanted to go with him. We packed a picnic lunch and headed up into the Uintah Mountains. The drive was a little long for the kids but we finally made it. We ate and then headed up the trail. The kids walked carrying the fishing pole and didn't complain. We fished for awhile, mostly Dusty did while the kids played on the rocks. We had a great time!!

Allie's 2nd Birthday Party

Allie's Birthday was on the 8th but with Dusty's work schedule we decided to celebrate on the 10th. We invited the McKenna's and Shane over for a BBQ and cake. We had a great time, after all we had great company. Allie opened her presents and she got a comforter that matches Emma's (we want her to share a room with Emma), Littlest Pet Shop Clubhouse(thanks to Amanda Allie will sit and play for long periods of time and loves them!), a Littlest Pet Shop monkey, a shirt that says American girls rule!, with a map of the USA, and the McKenna's gave her a sweet baby. She had a great day!

Emma & Allie's Hairbow Holder

We got this idea from Kara (where a lot a great ideas come from). We needed a great place to hang the bows becasue they magically disapper or "I don't know" keeps taking them. We used this old window from Rock Creek and the girls helped. It was a fun project to do together!

Allie's First Night Seeping in Emma's Room

I have always wanted my kids to share rooms. I have some great memories of Gretchen and I playing in our room. My favorite memory is catching lighting bugs and letting them go in our room at night. I want my kids to have some of their own great memories. So now that I have 2 girls to share we are slowly moving Allie in. This was her first night and she did great. We went to Vernal with friends and by the time she got home she was ready for bed. She is a girl that loves her bed! We have our fingers crossed that she will continue to love it!

Lunch Park

All summer long we like to go to the park and eat lunch. We visit with our friends, ride our bikes, and sometimes we go swimming afterwards.

Fireworks at the Woodlands

We went to the Woodlands to the Anadarko's parking deck and watched the fireworks. It was a great show! They went all out!
