Corn Maze

We went to the Bluebell corn maze with Emma's Joy school for her Halloween party.

Riding the cow train. Belen and Nathan
Nathan and Emma riding in the hay wagon after picking out a pumpkin.

Nathan loved this. I couldn't get him off after he saw it. We did a trunk or treat, and he wanted to stay on that and play instead of getting candy. After we got home he would get my camera and kept asking to see the picture and told me to buy it for him. One day he caught me looking on the internet for one to buy for Christmas. This mad him sad since I told him that it was only a picture. He only had to wait 2 months and then Santa brought him one.

Nails

For Emma's birthday Kerri gave Emma a coupon for a manicure and pedicure. Emma was so excited so we made a girl's day and went to go see Kerri.

Emma loved her manicured nails.

Emma's 5th B-day Party

Emma invitied so many kids to her party that I didn't have the heart to not invite any that she had already invited. So 22 kids were at my house and it was a zoo but Emma had a blast!
I made her cake. No Megan it isn't all icing, there is a cake underneath about 10 cups of icing. Yum!!!

Homemade Rolls

We LOVE homemade rolls. I whip up the dough and then let it rise. My kids love to help roll out the dough.
And spread the butter.
And roll up the rolls.

Family Home Evening Can be Dangerous

After the lesson during family home evening Nathan and Emma decided to wrestle with Dusty. They were playing around when Dusty lifted Nathan into the air and as Nathan came down he hit his eye on the corner of the coffee table. Dusty tought we should put a band aid on it but I was worried so we went across the street to ask the Stakers(they are both Dr.s) if it was bad and he said it needed medical attention. So we went to the clinic to get it fixed up. It wasn't deep enough that it had to be stitched, which was great, but deep enough that it had to have something done to it for it to heal, so they glued it.

Poor baby! He was so tough!
